Alright, enough of these ridiculous ‘Saw is a compelling morality play’ arguments. Did we need IV of them? Really? Dead End (scroll down to the bottom of the page) proves yet again that you don’t need to show - any - violence to make an atmospheric and scary horror flick. Give these students a 40 million dollar budget and they could probably come up with something that doesn’t have a Roman numeral in the title and would scare you more than seeing a guy choose between disembowelment and decapitation.
