Video game violence

There’s an argument out there that violent video games are breeding a vicious generation of sociopaths. It’s hard to tell whether Young Gun, about a video game-obsessed 15-year-old hitman, advances or satirizes this view. Decide for yourself:
Young Gun was a winner at the 2007 Duke City Shootout.

It would be ignorant to say that video games don’t have any influence on the behaviour of the ones who play it. Apart from that, I don’t have the feeling that this phenomenon is increasing.
As part of the team that reviewed the scripts (and someone who works with game developers from time to time), I still have the same question!
Sometimes there’s a fine line between satire and reality and Young Gun, to me… keeps that line pretty blurry.
